Corona Tiki Hut
Transforming a high-traffic stadium concourse into a permanent, tropical-inspired destination built for fan engagement and brand connection.
Background
The Corona Tiki Hut Bar at Raymond James Stadium, home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, was conceived as a permanent, hospitality-driven destination designed to stand out within one of the NFL’s most high-energy environments. Located in Buccaneer Cove, the goal was to transform a standard service area into a vibrant, immersive escape that enhances the overall fan experience.
In collaboration with Cogent, Pinpoint was brought in to fabricate and install a tiki-inspired bar that blends bold brand storytelling with the durability required for a year-round stadium environment. The vision centered on creating a space that feels transportive, inviting, and unmistakably Corona, while performing at scale during high-volume events.
The Ask
We were tasked with bringing the Corona brand to life through a permanent bar installation that could serve as both a functional concession space and a visually striking focal point. The structure required high-performance durability to withstand continuous, demanding stadium use and a humid subtropical climate, while delivering a premium aesthetic finish.
Equally important was capturing the relaxed, beach-inspired identity of the Corona brand within the constraints of a concourse. Every material, texture, and graphic element had to work together to create an environment that felt cohesive, authentic, and instantly recognizable to fans.
The Work
We custom-fabricated and installed a tiki-inspired bar structure designed to anchor the space and draw fans in from across the concourse. Built on an aluminum frame with ACM cladding, the installation balances structural integrity and flexibility, enabling efficient assembly and long-term durability.
Wrapped faux-wood vertical panels introduced warmth and texture, reinforcing the tropical aesthetic while maintaining the performance required for a high-traffic environment. Dimensional palm tree elements and custom-cut perforated metal backers added depth and visual layering, creating a sense of place that extends beyond a typical bar build.
Branded Corona signage and on-brand PMS paint finishes were applied throughout the structure, ensuring consistency across all elements and maximizing visibility within the stadium. From concept through installation, every detail was engineered to support both operational functionality and to display the spirit of the brand.
The result is a permanent, high-impact destination that elevates the fan experience, encourages engagement, and reinforces Raymond James Stadium as a place where brands come to life in meaningful, memorable ways.
