The Cotton Shop by REVOLVE

REVOLVE

The Ask

The challenge? Build a pop-up that looked and felt like a real store–all within a hotel event space and a tight installation window.

Our role went far beyond graphics. We handled custom fabrication, temporary architectural builds, fitting rooms, displays, signage, window treatments, furniture, rack assembly, and all the back-of-house details. Every element had to look great and work seamlessly for four days of shopping.

While the retail team prepped merchandise, we carefully sequenced the install so racks, furniture, fitting rooms, displays, and graphics were all ready for merchandising and opening day.

Activation Background

Cotton Incorporated and REVOLVE teamed up to launch The Cotton Shop, a four-day pop-up at The Emily Hotel in Chicago, IL. The space showcased cotton and denim in a modern, fashion-forward environment, inviting guests to shop, discover the brands, and enjoy unique interactive moments throughout.

Pinpoint helped turn the event space into a true retail experience. Our team handled everything from fabrication and installing the cash wrap and custom dressing rooms, to building the Denim Wall, signage, graphics  and back-of-house areas.

Building the Pop-Up Shop

We completely reimagined the space at The Emily Hotel, combining custom builds, environmental graphics, branded signage, and retail fixtures.

A custom cash wrap became the shop’s branded focal point, while three fitting rooms offered private changing spaces with curtains, mirrors, hooks, and branded mirror graphics. Custom acrylic Cotton x REVOLVE wall signs highlighted the partnership, with placement coordinated on-site with the REVOLVE team.

A standout feature was the custom Denim Wall; part merchandise display, part visual centerpiece. It included backer panels, clothing rods, and printed fabric signage to organize and spotlight the denim collection.

Window graphics helped build anticipation ahead of opening, with the storefront updated for the start of the event. Inside, Pinpoint assembled racks and furniture, installed back-of-house drapery, set up uplighting, and worked alongside the retail team to prepare the space for opening. The three-day installation was carefully sequenced so production and merchandising could happen simultaneously.

The result? A pop-up that felt less like a temporary event and more like a real retail destination, giving Cotton and REVOLVE a space where product, brand storytelling, and in-person shopping all came together.
