The American Academy of Dermatology Association (AAD) Annual Meeting is the ultimate gathering for dermatologists and skincare experts, showcasing the latest in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.
As a global leader in science-backed skincare, Neutrogena, a Kenvue brand, made a bold statement at the event, reinforcing its industry leadership.
Neutrogena hosted an exclusive "Beauty to a Science" launch party—an immersive experience for 500+ dermatologists, influencers, and industry professionals. Colina Group partnered with Pinpoint to bring the activation to life, anchored by a dynamic speakeasy entryway that set the tone for the entire experience and vividly embodied the brand’s new vision.
Objectives
- Bringing to life Neutrogena's refreshed brand positioning
- Connect attendees—including dermatologists and influencers—with Neutrogena scientists to explore the latest skincare innovations.
- Deliver an immersive brand experience highlighting Neutrogena’s science-backed approach to skincare.
- Provide exclusive product samples to strengthen brand awareness and loyalty.
The Signature Elements
Entrance Experience
- Exterior Façade – Custom-built, branded “newsstand” entrance for a strong first impression.
- Interior Tunnel – Designed to guide guests into the event with an engaging visual experience.


Main Floor Environment
- Hero Wall – Glowing, chrome-framed wall with transparent corrugated background panels illuminated with blue LED lights, with dimensional Neutrogena sign.
- Suspended “Beauty to a Science” Sign (10’ Diameter) – Floating neon-style signage for high visibility above main bar.
- Marketplace – Custom fabricated booths, facades, and wall surrounds with large-format printing and glowing signs and panels
- “Black Bar” – Custom shipping container-style structure (28’W x 8’D x 8’H) fabricated of aluminum framing, decorated with vinyl logos, tube lights, and illuminated "Beauty to a Science" channel lettering.
- Arcade Environment – Two faux tile walls with illuminated Neutrogena signs and neon-style luminous signs, and vinyl graphics on 57 linear feet of windows.
- Dimensional Neutrogena Logo & "Beauty to a Science" Branding strategically placed throughout the venue.
- Exit Wall – Fabricated wall Printed vinyl graphics to ensure lasting brand impact as guests departed.

Interactive Video Op on Second Floor
- Lip-Sync Karaoke Booth – Custom built, mirror-finish room (14’W x 15’D x 9’H) with sound-dampening features for an interactive experience.
