The Experience

You made it to the must-see concert of the season at the Hartford Healthcare Amphitheater. The concert venue was named “Best Large Music Venue in CT” by the Connecticut Post newspaper and Connecticut magazine. The anticipation is real! From the moment you parked the car and entered the venue grounds, your unforgettable evening experience began.

Just inside the gate, you and your party stop for a selfie in front of the giant “Greetings from Bridgeport” wall to document it for your friends. You pick up some cold brews from the Corona Beach concession then browse some band merchandise stands on your way to your seats. The air is electric with excitement as you wait for the show to start.

With the fan experience as the primary driver, the Hartford Healthcare Amphitheater was a redesign and renovation of a minor-league baseball stadium, carefully transformed and branded to immerse fans in the ultimate live-entertainment environment. The Hartford Healthcare Amphitheater partnered with Pinpoint to brand the venue end to end.

 

Solution

Producing an environment that blew fans away required inspiration and bold creative thinking from the Pinpoint team. And with venue sponsor brands such as Bud Light Seltzer, Hendrick’s Gin, Blue Point Brewing, Corona, Jack Daniel’s, and Two Roads Brewing, Pinpoint needed to create an engaging brand experience at countless touchpoints throughout the amphitheater.

The result: Pinpoint produced branded deliverables that included giant tickets for the artist commemorative wall, wayfinding and directional signage, branded concessions, party decks and VIP suites, and grand format artist banners on the venue’s exterior.

To inspire fans to take and share photo memories, Pinpoint designed the iconic postcard-inspired “Greetings from Bridgeport” backdrop and installed it on the most visible walls at the amphitheater’s main entrances. It immediately reels fans in, offering an inviting background to capture a fantastic photo.

 

 

Impact

The Hartford Healthcare Amphitheater was recognized for its inspirational branding; it was named winner of All-Star Renovation by VenuesNow, the preeminent trade publication for live entertainment venues across the globe. Attracting some of the largest music acts and comedians in the world, the amphitheater has become a showcase for Bridgeport and a revenue generator for the local community.

The result of Pinpoint’s extensive work on the branded live entertainment environment has not gone unnoticed. We surpassed the expectations of Howard Saffan, president of the Hartford Healthcare Amphitheater.
